Dynamics 365 & Microsoft 365

Somebody still has admin. They left in 2019.

I audit Microsoft estates for a living, which mostly means finding the permissions nobody removed, the licences nobody cancelled, and the settings someone changed once and never wrote down.

What I do

Three engagements, fixed fee

No day rate, so there's no version of this where it takes longer than expected.

Security audit

Who can reach what — across the CRM and the tenant behind it. The answer is usually "more people than you think."

  • Security roles, business units, field-level profiles
  • Permissions that accumulated over the years and never left
  • Conditional Access gaps and legacy authentication
  • Admin accounts that outlived the person who needed them
  • Apps someone approved once, in a hurry

Licence optimization

Licences measured against actual use. Most estates I look at have 15–25% recoverable, and nobody is happy to hear it.

  • Inactive accounts still costing money every month
  • People on a tier three steps above what they open
  • The same person licensed twice, in two subsidiaries
  • Savings quantified per year, in your currency

CRM health check

What the environment actually looks like underneath — before it becomes a migration problem and everyone's problem.

  • Configuration drift since the original build
  • Duplicate records and data integrity
  • Dataverse audit settings and retention
  • Power Platform governance and DLP policies

How I work

Read-only, always

I look. I write down what I found. I don't touch anything on the way through.

The access I ask for

Less than your last intern had.

No write access. No data leaves your tenant.

  • Fixed fee, not a day rate. You know the number before I start, and it doesn't grow while I'm in there.
  • A written report, not a slide deck. Findings with risk ratings, a remediation roadmap, and the evidence behind each one. Nobody has ever asked me for more slides.
  • Delivered on a call. I walk you through it rather than emailing a PDF and vanishing into the timezone.
  • Implementation is optional. I can fix what I found, or hand the roadmap to your team. Both are fine, and I'll say which one I'd pick.
  • Independent. I don't resell licences and I don't implement CRM systems — so when I say you're overpaying, it isn't a sales technique.
